This course helps students develop logical thinking and foundational programming skills using Visual C++, one of the most popular programming languages. Students will learn to write, compile, and run C++ programs with a visual interface.

Hands-On Projects

Practical learning through small coding projects and interactive applications helps students apply concepts in real time.

Project 1: Personal Information Display

A simple program to take name, age, and grade as input and display formatted output.

Project 2: Mini Calculator

Build a calculator that can perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using switch statements.

Project 3: Grade Calculator

Input marks for 5 subjects and calculate total, average, and grade using conditions and loops.

Project 4: Number Guessing Game

Develop a game where the user tries to guess a randomly generated number using loops and conditionals.

Project 5: Bank Account Simulator

Create a simple simulation to deposit, withdraw, and display balance using functions and classes.

Assignments

Weekly assignments are designed to reinforce logic building and syntax understanding in a structured, progressive manner.

Week 1–2:

Week 1:
Write 5 programs using different data types and display outputs
Identify errors in sample code snippets
Week 2:
Write programs using arithmetic and logical operators
Create a calculator program using switch-case

Week 3–4:

Week 3:
Practice conditional statements (if-else and nested)
Create a voting eligibility checker and even-odd checker
Week 4:
Use loops to create number patterns (e.g., triangle of stars)
Build a multiplication table generator

Week 5–6:

Week 5:
Write 3 programs using functions with and without return values
Create a menu-based program using functions
Week 6:
Design a class with simple functions for Student Record
Submit the final project (any one from the hands-on list)
