A 2-minute speech on a topic of the student’s choice.

Elevator Pitch Challenge & Interactive Speech Project

Craft and deliver a 30-second introduction. Focus: Brevity, clarity, and impact.
Deliver a speech involving the audience with visuals and questions. Focus: Engagement strategies and use of multimedia tools.

Leadership Simulation Exercise & Mock Conference Presentation

Students lead group activities and decision-making exercises. Focus: Leadership style and communication effectiveness.
Present a researched topic to a larger group with visual support. Focus: Professional public speaking and presentation delivery.

Final Capstone Project

A comprehensive presentation combining storytelling, persuasion, and leadership communication.
Presented to peers and instructors as part of final assessment.

Fill out structured outlines for personal and persuasive speeches.
Create a basic PowerPoint or Prezi deck for a class presentation.

Storytelling Assignment & Peer Feedback Sheets

Write and rehearse a 3-minute story with a strong opening, middle, and conclusion.
Evaluate fellow students’ speeches using given parameters (content, delivery, confidence, etc.).

Conflict Resolution Role-Play Script & Inspirational Speech Draft

Write a short script to handle a given conflict scenario through effective communication.
Develop and submit a written version of their inspirational speech for feedback before final delivery.
